Ladies Update

On Wednesday, 28th July, 5 Old Basing Ladies took part in the North Hants "Dolly Anstey" 2 Wood Singles Competition at Alton Social B.C. This is quite a special competition for Old Basing, as Dolly Anstey was one of our club players (spot her name on the club Honours Boards) and a past N.H.W.B.A. President.

After quite a few rain breaks, Stella Hayden, Karen O'Dea and Anita Christian became 3 of the 4 semi-finalists who will go forward along with Wendy Taylor of Howard Park, to play their Semis on 20th August at Cove. Let's hope that this is one trophy that we can bring home! Well done Ladies and Good luck!!
