Hi Bowlers,

We are fast approaching our Annual Club Day on Saturday 25^th June when we put aside normal bowling and have a social gathering on the green with our Captain setting up bowls related challenges of a rather different kind. We will have a barbeque to add to an alternative fun afternoon. Normal dress code is put to one side and you can wear what you like, the more colourful the better.

As a rule this afternoon attracts considerable interest and many members come along and have a thoroughly enjoyable time. It is also an excellent way for those new to the club to mingle with existing members in a relaxed setting.

The Barbeque at the end of the afternoon will offer a range of choice. PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL BY SATURDAY 16TH JUNE with an order from the following list so that we can get in the appropriate amounts of food. You can choose a single or multiples from this list: 

 6oz Sirloin Steak £5

Quarter Pounder in a Bun £2.50

 Sausage in a Bun £1.50

 Chicken Drumstick £1 (which will be cooked in the oven)

A list for those wishing to play Roger's alternative bowls challenges has been posted in the Clubhouse so that he can organise teams, but please send your food choices to me by Email including the wishes of those not actually playing. Also if you cannot get down to the club before the end of June to register your wish to play you can tell me by Email when you order your food.
